MODEL EB 108 / 3200 X 3100 - PC numerical control

 

 

SINGLE LINE PANEL SIZING CENTRE WITH FAST AND ACCURATE NUMERIC CONTROLLED PUSHER
AND MANUAL PANEL INFEED ON FRONT TABLES OF MACHINE.

 
This machine requires one operator excluding the infeed and outfeed operations of the material being used.

The optimal height of the stack to be cut as well as the optimal cutting speed depend on the nature of material,
on the finish required and on the quality and wear and tear of tools.

MAIN BASE STRUCTURE OF CUTTING STATION 
The machine main base, covered by an international patent, consists of a monobloc heavy duty
normalized frame structure and two strong supports assuring its perfect level and stability.              

The guideways of saw carriage are ground and hardened and assure the extremely long durability
of the guiding system and its precision.
   



SAW CARRIAGE  
The saw carriage with its normalized steel rigid structure supports and guides the main saw and the scoring

saw blade with extreme accuracy.
 


The exact alignment of the scoring saw blade with the main one is carried out from the machine with saw
blades in motion. 
 

Saw blades change is quick and is made simple by means of a blocking system for the saw hubs thus  
enabling the locking and unlocking of the flange nut with a single wrench.

                                                                                                
 

   

 
The saw carriage is driven by an A.C. Brushless sevomotor with digital technology for an accurate positioning
(transmission by rack and pinion)  always under direct monitoring of the numeric control.




PRESSURE BEAM
The main pressure beam always assures a positive and firm clamping of panels throughout the complete
cutting cycle.




SIDE SQUARING DEVICE
The side squaring device is fully automatic positioning in relation to the width of the cycle to be executed.

  

ACCURATE PUSHER CARRIAGE WITH GRIPPERS 
The heavy duty pusher carriage for the positioning of panels runs along heavily dimensioned steel guides.
The extremely precise rack and pinion drive assures accurate positioning of the panels.


 

AUTOMATIC EJECTION OF CUT PARTS
All cut strips and panels are automatically ejected to the font side of the machine and away from the
cutting line at the end of each cutting cycle.

In this way, it is avoided that the operator inserts his hands on the cutting line to remove both the cut
panels and the trim cuts.


SUPPORTING STATIONS

The table of the machine base is covered with machined and calibrated H.P.L. (high pressure laminate) for
easy sliding of material.

The supporting table at rear of the cutting station is equipped with independent idle roller to avoid any
friction with delicate surfaces of panels.

The front section of the machine is equipped with round-shaped air cushion tables (with covers) to ensure
easier movement of panels.  A patent on the special round profile of the air cushion tables has already been
deposited.



PC CONTROL

Thanks to its microprocessor technology and Multitasking operating system, the machine can be controlled
directly using a standard PC (with Windows 2000, NT or XP operating system), to give maximum flexibility of use,
simultaneous running of a number of function (e.g.: direct management of all machines axes or the ability to set the
next operations while the machine is working); the ability to use different applications software (optimizer, etc...);  
integration with the company software network; etc...

The following are the main functions of the control:

* 15" or 17" analogue flat panel monitor display configurable to 1024x768 pixel resolution and

minimum 65.000 colours (16 bit). Maximum dimensions: height 345 mm, width 420 mm, depth 120 mm
* PS2 connection keyboard

* PS2 connection mouse
* Parallel port
* Three USB ports
* Three USB ports
* Windows XPTM (1) operating system
* Network card for communication with office software.  The card must allow connection via the

Microsoft network.

The network connection is the client's responsibility;                    

* Cutting patterns   
The control is capable of managing complex cutting patterns (comprising longitudinal cuts, transversal cuts,
pre-cuts, single or multiple cuts of levels there and four) with graphic simulation of all operations;

* Lists
By running a list it is possible to machine all the cutting patterns in that list in cascade;


* Manual cuts
Using the manual cuts page it is possible to set a series of cutting operations on the numeric
control with ease, and send them for immediate running;

* Simulation

During machining of the cutting patterns it is possible to display real time 2D graphic simulation of the                     
panel sizing phases; indicating the sizes of cuts;
  
* Diagnostics
In the event of a problem of any kind within the machine, or of inappropriate use of the various
numeric control pages, a message is displayed on the numeric control itself indicating the cause of the
problem.

* On line help
It is possible to access the help page form any other page on the control.  Basically speaking, the whole
of the numeric control manual can be found on the various pages of the numeric control software itself.
                  
* Maintenance
For the main parts of the machine, the optimum number of hours between on maintenance operation  
and the next is indicated.  A warning message is displayed each time a maintenance operation is required.
A video can be run to show the operator how to do the maintenance

* Statistics
Every type of event is recorded (date and time).  It is possible to process the recorded data, so as to obtain

various types of information;

* Language
The following default languages are installed on the numeric control; Italian, English, French, Spanish,
German and Japanese.  It is possible to install other languages on request.

                    
* Units of measurement
It is possible to work both in millimeters and in decimal inches; 

* Parameters
By adjusting the machine parameters it is possible to customize function with respect to the standard
configuration, so as to meet the needs of the Client.  The following are examples of some of these parameter:
     - Table of saw blade carriage speeds according to the stack size and amount of trim;
     - Machining of cutting patterns according to the number and position of grippers;
     - Automatic management of trim;

     - Pick-up position for the adjustable pusher.

The control hardware allows storage of an unlimited number of diagrams, lists and sequences in the resident
memory.  Further optional software applications allow optimization of cutting patters, management of machine-side
label printout , more detailed processing of statistics information, and software connections with other programs.

                    
The single phase power supply to the PC is separate from that to the machine (to eliminate and different
in potential)

L5003426    "DIGEST" function for electronic regulation (directly on the numeric control) of horizontal
and vertical alignment of the scoring saw blade with the main saw blade.  The numeric control allows
storage of vertical/horizontal settings for up to 10 saw blade sets (scoring/main saw blade).  In this way,
when a saw blade set is fitted, its setting values can be called up rapidly on the control and machining
 operations can start right away. 
  
L5104420    Additional pneumatic gripper to fit on pusher to move panels.  For each griper it would be wise 

to add a roller module. 
The aluminum front stops on the grippers are trimmed off when the machine is tested, so as to provide
a reference that is perfectly parallel to the cutting axis.

L5104406     "QUICK CHANGE" device for a safe and rapid change of both the main saw blade and the

scoring saw blade.  By pressing a button the operator unlocks the hub pneumatically and can then  
continue to change both the saw blades.
